Our Experiences are designed to reconnect you with the magic of our land, the biodiversity of species that inhabit it, and the cultural richness of our present and past.
Thanks to its topography and geographical characteristics, Tanusas is blessed to lie at the interconnection of four ecosystems within a 30 km radius: the coastal ecosystem, mangroves, tropical dry forest, and the humid forest of the garúa foothills.
This area alone hosts 44% of the world's plants, some of which have been recognized as endangered, home to birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, and creatures that are native to an ecosystem that sustains life in balance and harmony between humans and nature.
Over the last decade, we have designed experiences based on regenerative tourism and our deep-held beliefs in the power of travel to do good all along our value chain. Our providers are local people from the province of Manabí who work honestly and diligently. Each experience is designed to promote general well-being and inspire you to be mindful of yourself and the role you play in caring for the environment.
With our expert team, design your perfect day, whether a laze on the sand with a ceviche-making lesson, a stroll along the beach, an exploration of our mangrove forest and perhaps a pottery class. Or maybe something more active, like surf lessons, a hike in our protected cloud forest, scuba diving or whale-watching off the coast.
Whichever way you plan your day, we believe "one size fits one".
A short distance from the beach, explore the fascinating tangled roots of the mangrove ecosystem and the dry forest beyond, home to more than 15 species of endemic birds, deer, anteaters and many more creatures.
The internal Biocorridor is 1km long. No prior reservation is required to visit it.
